The Black Currant Liqueur is Dillon's local take on the classic French liqueur, Crème de Cassis. Typically made with neutral spirit and artificial flavourings, this is crafted with the rye grain spirit as the base and to that is added fresh black currants from Torrie Warner’s farm on John Street in Beamsville and Ridgeberry Farms. They steeped for 4 months before straining and filtering off the spirit. Dillon's then sweeten it with non-GMO organic cane sugar.
It is fresh and clean with loads of berry aromas and taste. Perfect for your next Kir Royale.
