The Artigiana Burrata it produces is a cheese made from cow’s milk with a Mozzarella base and a creamy centre. Filled by hand according to the ancient traditions used in Apulia, it combines all the flavours of the milk from this terroir. All the product of Caseificio artigiana are made of the excellent quality milk, rigorusly controlled, from the farms around Putigano (Bari) Puglia, Italy.

When you slice into it, the ritagli-thickened panna (cream) nestling at the centre of this Burrata ball sumptuously spills out. The flavour and different textures of the inside and outside make it go well with salad, prosciutto crudo, crusty bread, fresh tomatoes with olive oil and cracked black pepper or pasta.

Caseificio Artigiana, created by the D’Ambruoso family, is located in Putignano in Apulia, Italy, to the south of Bari. Their Burrata has been awarded the prize for the best Burrata in the world at the Italian Cheese Awards in 2018 and 2019! It has also been awarded the Italian Traditional Agri-Food Product Label. 

This Burrata is flown in fresh from Italy within days of its production.
