Black Bellows is a place where friends meet, surrounded by joyful ambiance and art, to experience expertly crafted beers and food. All of their beer is brewed on site in their hand-built 17.5 hL brewhouse, which feeds 35 hL fermenters and a 35 hL American oak foeder. All of this is housed in the unique, eclectic building that consists of an 1800s carriage shop and forge, an 1940s auto body shop, and a modern-day addition. Needless to say the location has long been an exciting place, and central to the life of Collingwood, Ontario.
Beach Freak is a hazy, New England-style pale ale that’s dry hopped with Strata and Citra. Strata lends a strawberry flavour and Citra comes through as stone fruit and citrus. The combination is incredible! Although this beer is supremely hoppy, it lacks bitterness and is very easy drinking. Think tropical juice and refreshment for the year’s hottest days.
