This Gouda hails from the Twente region of eastern Netherlands. The paste is coloured bright orange with annatto and has beautiful crystallization. It is a smooth and creamy cheese with notes of caramel, toasted hazelnuts, butter toast balanced by a medium saltiness. The cheese is encased in brown wax.
