Ripened for over 7 months and very unique, La Fermière from Fromagerie Médard is a tasty farmstead cheese with an exquisite Juniper berries aroma. The berries in this melting semi-firm paste originate from the fermentation juices used to make the km12 Gin produced in that region by Distillerie du Fjord.

A subtly-sweet, fruit forward farmstead cheese studded with juniper berries. La Fermière plays well with others on a charcuterie board, and can be used as a raclette. The berries gently infuse the cheese with an herbal aroma as it ages for 7 months. Pair with a flavourful and round glass of wine, or a nutty ale.
