For five generations, the Alemany family has prepared artisan turron, selecting honey from the best beekeepers. The history of Torrons i Mel Alemany dates back to the end of the 19th century (1879) when Mrs Mundeta made sweets with honey and nuts from the area. Given that Montsec is a harsh land, difficult to cultivate, this activity was a good alternative for them.
Considered the best of the almonds, the Marcona almond is deeply rooted in the Mediterranean and its gastronomy. These Marcona almonds are slowly caramelised in sweet and sticky rosemary honey from the Catalonia region of Spain.
