Wookey Hole Cave Aged Cheddar Cheese is a delicious, handmade, artisanal cheddar from England. 

The cheese is first made at the farm, using the milk of local cows grazing on lush pastures.

Each wheel is then lovingly wrapped in protective cloth, and is carefully brought down 200 feet into the caves. In this environment with a constant temperature, the cheese is then allowed to age for another 6 months.

This hard cheese has a wonderfully crumbly, yet creamy texture, with sharp, tangy, nutty flavours, and an earthy undertone.

Wookey Hole Cave Aged Cheddar Cheese has won several awards and is a PDO protected cheese.

Pair with a Cabernet Sauvignon.
